This introduction to programming Java applets includes tutorials on objects, classes, threads and events, and how to integrate Java applets into a Web site; some knowledge of programming is recommended. Unlike the Java Tutorial CD, it coves version JDK 1.1 (and is also a very different style).
This intermediate-level tutorial is a suitable follow-on from the Introduction to Programming Java Applets CD.
This VTC Training CD (approx. 4 hours) can be used under Windows or on the Macintosh. JavaScript can be thought of as an extension to HTML; it provides facilities for pop-up windows, manipulating images, inserting digital clocks and counters etc.

LaTeX is a powerful document description language built on top of TeX. It is available on Unix, Windows and Macintoshes. It can be used for the presentation of plain text (including accented characters and letters outside the English alphabet), the typesetting of mathematics, the generation of tables, and producing simple diagrams. The course is intended for beginners to networking who have some familiarity with computers. The course provides an introduction to the Internet and computer networks in general.
The skills and knowledge covered in this publication will allow you to become quickly proficient in the changes and new features introduced in Microsoft Office 2007. Access 2007 is not included in this course.
