Description
This self-paced hands-on course gives an introduction to spreadsheets, databases and charting using Excel 2007. There is emphasis on short cuts and other efficient ways of working.
Prerequisites
The course is aimed at beginners - no previous knowledge or experience is assumed, but it can also be attended by those who wish to practise under supervision.

Notes
- Participants work at their own pace using a workbook containing notes and exercises.
- Most participants will complete the material in the three timetabled sessions during which help and advice are available. However, the length of time taken will vary according to previous experience, so the facilities will remain available for informal use for a further week after the formal sessions; alternatively the course files can be copied to CD or memory stick (not supplied) so that the exercises can be completed on other machines.
